The Johns Hopkins Child Care and Early Learning Center is designed to serve full-time faculty and staff, full-time day students, house staff, and fellows of the Johns Hopkins University schools of Medicine, Nursing, Public Health; and full-time employees of Johns Hopkins Hospital, Health System, and Bayview Medical Center. The center is open to children ages 6 weeks through preschool for full-time care. Learn more here.

Johns Hopkins University offers a host of helpful tools for families in need of child care. The Care@Work digital platform offers a full suite of benefits including premium membership for finding care on your own, Backup Child and Adult Care for when your regular arrangements are not available. Hopkins affiliates can receive help finding group care at LOCATE, a personalized service of the Maryland Family Network. In addition, JHU has child care vouchers to help pay for care for children ages 0-5 and several child care partners with which Hopkins affiliates have preferred admission. Learn more here.

The University of Maryland partners with Bright Horizons to provide a high-quality early education and preschool center for infants through preschool to UMD employees, students, College Park residents and community members.
